Consume All Media! Adventures of Captain Marvel: “Chapter Eleven: Valley of Death”

So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the tenth chapter of Adventures of Captain Marvel. This time, they continue with the eleventh chapter.

Billy and Betty swim to shore and we discover that Betty’s piece of the map was hidden in her jacket and not in her stolen purse. Betty continues to be the smartest person here.

They head into town where Billy goes to get cars and equipment for The Expedition, Part II.

Meanwhile, the Scorpion sends a messenger bird to the natives near the tomb, warning them of the expedition’s arrival. They prepare a trap.

On their way, Billy spots one of the natives sending a signal, turns into Captain Marvel, and chases him down. He finds out they’ve blocked the road up ahead and are going to bury them in a landslide. Captain Marvel moves the tree blocking the road and they barely get through before the landslide takes out the road.

Frustrated, the leader of the natives, Rahman Bar (a very white Reed Hadley) decides to reroute a river into the volcano to make it erupt. (Which as we know is a signal that the Scorpion god is displeased and they need to go kill people.)

The expedition gets to the tomb and they put the map together. All but Billy and Tal Chotali (the Siam Guide played by the very white John Davidson) go into the tomb.

Should you watch it, though?: This is mostly just setting up the final chapter, but there’s a couple of decent action sequences.
