Previously, Joe watched the sixth chapter of Adventures of Captain Marvel. This time, they continue with the seventh chapter.
Adventures of Captain Marvel: “Chapter Seven: Human Targets” - 17:07 (Available on Tubi.)

Much like with the guillotine, Captain Marvel is fine. He’s a big boy. He can handle a little electrocution.
The Scorpion arranges for Betty to be kidnapped to lure in Captain Marvel. A henchman hides in the trunk of her car and shoots out her tire. After they drive away in his car, Betty takes the keys out of the ignition and pretends to throw them out of the window. While they stop to look for them, she runs off into the desert.
Despite constantly being kidnapped, Betty is pretty dang smart.
Meanwhile, Billy comes across Betty’s car and assumes something is up. Further down the road, he sees the henchmen, turns into Captain Marvel, and chases them down. Time to be violent! He throws a person off a cliff, but into a lake, so I don’t feel like I can put it on the kill count.
However… he then literally scares another guy into falling off of a dam wall. Not into a river, but cold hard ground.

As they return to the henchman’s car (which Betty has the keys for), Captain Marvel explains that Billy is his bestest friend and calls him on a special radio frequency and that’s how he always knows to come and save the day.
A henchman hiding on the side of the car overhears this and as Betty drives off, he gets in the car and re-kidnaps Betty.
Betty is taken to The Scorpion where she immediately steals a gun and tries to shoot him, but winds up only grazing his hand.
Betty is awesome.
The Scorpion’s men kidnap Billy and put both him and Betty into a shack on a bombing range. Betty tries to radio out for Captain Marvel as a gagged Billy watches on helplessly. Pretty soon bombs begin falling and the shack explodes. CLIFFHANGER!

Should you watch it, though?: Yes! Despite Betty getting double kidnapped, she gets to be pretty badass. Also, Captain Marvel continues to be a murdering menace!
Tune in next time for Adventures of Captain Marvel "Chapter Eight: Boomerang" (Available on Tubi.)
